Here's what I like about the A&W in my neighbourhood: I always get a consistently yummy veggie burger;  a tasty breakfast, and cold root beer.

The restaurant is clean. The staff here are friendly and efficient. (Thomas, in particular, is always cheerful and helpful.)

Every time we stop in, we get good value and a quick, scrumptious lunch. What more could you want?

Went here last night and ordered a mama burger. They didn't make it fresh, the burger patty was cold, though the bun was fresh. Although, it still took them 5 minutes to prepare it, without anyone in the restaurant!

They aren't that friendly here. Customer service could be a lot better.

Access to this place is difficult, turning left into the plaza when traveling south.  But when exiting, you have to go it the north side.

Went to this location today November 3 at 3:15 -3:20. Have not been to A & W before thinking I will try something new based on the commercials. Waste of time and money. The cashier did not provide options when I put in an order for mama burger. she said that's it and I said fries. Told me $9.75. Gave her the money in her hand she returns 5 cents on the counter and turned her back immediately to get the order. No receipt handed. Took the bag containing the burger and fries, slammed it on the counter saying mama burger then turned her back again. Never mind the rudeness. When I took the burger home, all the condiments were on the bottom bun under the burger, wasn't much and the beef was chewy and tasteless. The fries were the worst ever. No salt on it. Taste like old fried potatoes. The first and last time I will go there!!!
    DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MEAL!!!!

    Quick review :)

    Good food!
Fries, onion rings, burgers were all good! Nothing was overcooked or burnt.

    Good staff!!

I had lunch here, and spent a good 1hr here. During the hour, i seen staff come around to wipe the tables twice!. The second time was the employee covering the drive thru, during the down time he came around to clean, and had to stop to take a drive thru order through his headphones.  This employees good habit/training is much appreciated to keep customers happy.

And for this reason, i give a 5 star rating!

This was my first visit here.

When you think A&W you think root beer floats, teen burgers and onion rings. Rarely do people think breakfast. This past Thursday, I decided to try it out.

There was no line at the drive thru (I was a little wary), but they were quick to take my order: small coffee (they advertise it as organic), sausage n egger and a hash-brown. They handed me my coffee and asked me to wait in the lot as my hash-brown will need a few minutes. No problem. Within five minutes my meal was brought to my window with an apology for the wait. My food hot, obviously freshly made.

I ate the sausage n egger quickly. It was pretty standard: English muffin (you can get it on a bun if you prefer), egg (fed from hen's with vegetarian diets), sausage and cheese. The hash-brown was crispy just the way I like it. The coffee tasted off. I'm a big k-cup fan so I am accustomed to most Van Houtte coffees, but this cup just wasn't good. It did the trick though, kept me going all day. Can't really ask for more. Overall, a good experience for a fast food franchise breakfast. I'll be back.
